Here at the Inn we had a full house this past 4th of July weekend. Even though the weather didn't exactly cooperate, our guests explored the area, visited many local attractions and enjoyed some find dining. A group of the men enjoyed a great day of bass fishing on Dewey's Pond. Our fishing expert and guide, Marty Banak, hooked them up with gear and canoes and gave them some good pointers. Several large bass were caught throughout the day. Later that evening,
Pentangle hosted a spectacular 4th of July celebration in the field behind Woodstock High School. There was still a bit of drizzle early in the evening, but rain showers held off and people ventured out. Many new games for children of all ages were added this year. Food was good and many families brought their own picnic dinners. As the sky darkened, the crowd enjoyed an excellent fireworks display. Thank you, Woodstock and Pentangle, for another great July 4th!
