Snowmobile Rider Even though the forecast was for light snow showers, we got dumped on pretty heavy.  I was busy packing away Christmas decorations but all through the day kept a watchful eye through the windows while all that pretty white stuff floated to the ground.  It finally stopped snowing around 6 pm and accumulation was around 7 inches.  We now have about 1-1/2 feet in total.  We spent most of the night with the snowplow, shovels and snowblower, making sure that our guests had places to park their cars and clear pathways to walk.  The moon was almost full and it was easy to see all around the property.  The dogs played on top of all the snowbanks and the horses watched us from their pasture.  We were tempted to get out our snowmobiles and go for a short ride through Grandpa's Gravel Pit, which is adjacent to the Inn, but it was getting late and we were hungry so we called it a night.  So come on up to Vermont all you snow lovers - conditions are great.  Will keep you posted when the next storm arrives.

We were guests at your inn and enjoyed the snowstorm and of course, your great hospitality. Let us know when snow falls again and we'll book the Skylar Rose Suite. That room is extremely nice.

Great Story Tina! Love those Christmas-time snow storms... We got about 14 inches at my house here in South Burlington. It definitely made the holiday that much better!
