Just a reminder to future brides and grooms - Christina's Cottage is luxurious, spacious, unique and perfect for your upcoming honeymoon..............and, most important, it is very private.  Yet, this Cottage is only a short distance from the Inn.  Step outside the Cottage door, walk to the back lawn and climb into the basket of a hot-air balloon.  Great story........out latest, newly married groom surprised his bride with this adventure to remember for a lifetime.  One morning during their stay, his bride awakened to an unusual sound of a large fan, blowing air into the envelope of a hot-air balloon.  The sound came from just outside their Cottage and she wasn't quite sure what to make of it.  While still lying in bed, her groom presented her with a cup of hot coffee, a delicious chocolate croissant and a beautiful yellow rose.  He then asked her to dress and walk outside the Cottage towards the back lawn.  Before she knew it, she was climbing into the basket of a tremendous and colorful hot-air balloon.  They enjoyed a fantastic flight soaring over the magnificent Quechee Gorge.  Later that day, her devoted groom again surprised his bride with his and her massages, performed in the privacy and comfort of their Cottage.  And sitting in a vase next to her massage table was another yellow rose.  At sunset that evening, the elated and very relaxed couple sat by the pond and our groom surprised his beloved wife again, this time with a bottle of fine champagne and, you guessed it, a third yellow rose!  I later found out that the reason for the 3 yellow roses was that the couple had met on the 3rd day of June.  They dated for exactly 3 years before he proposed on the 3rd of June and they were married a year later on the 3rd of June.  So, to our prospective brides and grooms - when planning your honeymoon or wedding, remember Christina's Cottage.  We specialize in weddings and honeymoons and will do our very best to accommodate your whims and desires.  Just let us know what we can do for you to make your honeymoon in the Woodstock area of Vermont memorable and wonderful in every possible way!
