This year I decided to take some time off from the Inn during the Thanksgiving holiday.  I travelled throughout Virginia and North Carolina.  A drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway was a highlight of the trip.  I highly recommend this scenic road.  Also spent some time on the Outer Banks in North Carolina, which is absolutely beautiful.  Now back home and preparing for family visits and guests during the Christmas season.  I entertained guests during Woodstock's Wassail Weekend.  If you've yet to experience this festive family event, I highly recommend it for your 2012 travel.  It is an annual event and takes place over the second weekend of December.  I hope all of you were able to spend time with family or friends during Thanksgiving.  Hope to see you here in Vermont in December!
