Kayaking, Canoeing, Fly Fishing - arranged through Wilderness Trails and just 2.5 miles away.  Bordered on the west by renowned Lake Champlain and on the east by the magnificent Connecticut River and with 808 lakes and ponds and over 7,000 miles of rivers and streams, Vermont offers world-class fishing opportunities and water activities for all ages, abilities and interests.

Covered Bridges - at one time Vermont had over 500 covered bridges - now there are just about 106 of these historic structures.  Plan to spend a day visiting several of these bridges. All are located within a few hours from our Inn - as far north as Troy, VT, as far east as Lyndon, VT, as far west as Charlotte, VT and as far south as Guilford, VT

The Woodstock area is beautiful.  It is nestled within the rolling hills of Vermont and is a perfect area for a weekend getaway.  With a covered bridge and stately homes surrounding the village green, it’s easy to see why National Geographic Magazine describes it as “one of the prettiest towns in America.” We highly recommend these interesting and enjoyable things to do while visiting this picturesque village:
