The weather was warm and the skies bright blue - perfect for a Vermont adventure.  My brother and his family were visiting from Denver and we were ready for some real outdoor fun.  The five of us  piled into our vehicles and headed to Stockbridge.  We rented inner tubes from the "Stockbridge Yacht Club", left one of our vehicles at the take-out spot and drove back up river to the input.  It was not only beautiful on the river but exciting as well, especially when we hit the rapids.  We discovered a beautiful swimming hole and spent some time floating in the clear waters and just relaxing.  Then down river again for more rapids.  We covered a little over 2 miles, which took us about 2+ hours.  We were definitely in no rush.  If you plan to visit the Inn, make sure you ask me for more details about tubing adventures.  It's a perfect way to enjoy some great family time.
