CLOUDLAND FARM (NORTH POMFRET)

Set in the pastoral hills of North Pomfret, Cloudland Farm is a diversified working farm which has been in the Emmons family since 1908. The spectacular views on the four-mile drive up the scenic Cloudland Road are part of the Cloudland experience.  They raise black Angus cattle, laying hens, Cornish-cross meat chickens, turkeys, pastured pigs, vegetables, herbs, flowers, and some friendly cats. The Appalachian Trail runs through the farm property and is open to hikers every day of the year.

They offer dinner in their on-farm restaurant, where you will experience true farm-to-table dining. Chef Mike Borraccio creates tantalizing cuisine using fresh, local ingredients from Cloudland and other local farms — a feast for both eyes and palette. Their menus change daily and will be posted on their website by Tuesday of each week.

Alcoholic beverages are not offered at Cloudland Farm.  However, guests are invited to bring their own beer and/or wine.

Dinner is served on Fridays and Saturdays by reservation only. They recommend that you book early as they often are fully booked two to four weeks in advance depending on the time of year
