Reservation Policy

MINIMUM STAYS:

A two night minimum stay is required.  For a one-night stay, please call the Inn directly at 802-295-0606 and we should be able to accommodate you. Also, please read our extremely fair cancellation policy, which is written below.

DEPOSIT:

Upon booking a reservation on our website, we require only a 25% deposit, effective only on or after February 15, 2021.  Upon notice of your reservation, we will email a confirmation to you.  The 25% deposit must be paid by personal or business check, money order or cashier's check. We are not accepting credit cards or debit cards at this time.  Upon checkout, the remaining balance will be due, either by personal or business check, money order, cashier's check or cash.

PETS/CHILDREN: 

We are pet and child friendly but we do ask that you call us before booking.  Not all our accommodations are suitable for a pet and/or children - 802-295-0606  

GIFT CERTIFICATES:

Searching for a thoughtful and memorable gift or undecided when to travel?  Our gift certificates just may solve your dilemma.  We customize each certificate depending upon occasion, purpose and accommodation.  Please call us with questions or to order - 802-295-0606 - and not to worry - our Gift Certificates never expire!

CANCELLATIONS AND OUR NEW, TEMPORARY BREAKFAST POLICY AS OF FEBRUARY 15, 2021;

Please note that our Reservation and Cancellation Policies are a vital part of managing an inn.  We are a small inn and cancellations affect us significantly.  Under highly unique and extreme circumstances, and at the sole discretion of the owners, the Cancellation Policy may be modified.  This Force Majeure Policy, written below, replaces and supersedes any and all prior cancellation policies and applies to all existing and future reservations.  This policy will remain in effect until further notice:

We understand that emergencies occur and sometimes unpredictable things happen.  The lodging community relies on advance reservation deposits at this time of year to get us through the "quiet time".  Should you need to cancel, all guest deposits will be CREDITED towards a future stay.  We require only a 25% deposit, as long as you book directly on our website. Other websites require substantially larger deposit amounts.  Your deposit/credit will be refunded ONLY if we are able to re-book your room(s). If we are unable to re-book your room(s), your deposit/credit will be applied towards a future stay. Restrictions do apply. The number of guests must be the same (or less) as the original reservation, the accommodation(s) must be the same (or upgraded) and the amount of nights must be the same (or greater).  In the case where you depart earlier than specified in your reservation, the full amount of your stay will be charged.  We try to be as fair as possible and don't wish for our guests to lose their deposit/credit. We even go a step further.  In the event you are unable to stay with us at any future time, you may GIFT your deposit/credit to another family member, a friend or your meaningful charity. Restrictions do apply. You must notify us that you are gifting/transferring your deposit/credit and sign a gift/transfer form. The number of guests must be the same (or less) as the original reservation. The accommodation(s) must be the same (or upgraded). The amount of nights must be the same (or greater).  Your deposit/credit DOES NOT HAVE an expiration date - you will never lose your deposit/credit.  By booking a reservation at this Inn, you agree to our policies.

A Personal Note From the Owners:  Due to the Coronavirus and for the health and safety of our staff and guests, we are offering a go-to, continental breakfast.  Coffee, tea, juices, yogurt, fruit, hardboiled eggs, granola bars, breakfast bars, snack bars, danish and biscotti are being served at this time.  Guests are encouraged to enjoy their breakfast in the privacy of their room, on the covered front porch, on the covered back porch, on the porch overlooking the pond, on the stone patio pondside, on the back lawn or in the gazebo

Please understand this is temporary and is for the safety of our staff and guests.  We are all faced with extreme challenges at this time.  These challenges are unanticipated and uncontrollable. We appreciate your business, past and future, and look forward to hosting you, hopefully in the near future.  In the meantime, be safe, stay well and most of all, be kind.
